INGREDIENTS :
125 ml (1⁄2 cup) unsalted butter, softened 250 ml (1 cup) granulated maple sugar 2 large eggs
500 ml (2 cups) all-purpose flour
15 ml (1 tbsp.) Baking powder (baking powder)
500 ml (2 cups) milk
125 ml (1⁄2 cup) maple sugar chips
MAPLE TOPPING:
125 ml (1⁄2 cup) maple syrup 150 g (3⁄4 cup) brown sugar 1 egg white
1 pinch of salt
PREPERATION :
Preheat the oven to 180 ° C / 350 ° F. In a blender, mix the butter and maple sugar. Incorporate one egg at a time and beat again. To book.
In a bowl sift the dry ingredients, then add to the mixture alternately with the milk. Beat until the mixture is smooth. Add the maple sugar chips. Pour into a buttered mold and flour. Bake for 30 minutes. Let cool before decorating.
For the maple glaze, put the ingredients in a double boiler over boiling water. Using a hand mixer, beat the mixture on high speed until peaks form, about 7 minutes. Decorate according to inspiration.
