INGREDIENTS :
6 duck legs
10 cloves of garlic
5 ml (1 teaspoon) of black pepper
4 sprigs of thyme
2 bay leaves
30 ml (2 tbsp.) Sea salt
3 ml (1⁄2 tsp.) Espelette pepper
30 ml (2 tbsp.) Fresh ginger, chopped 250 ml (1 cup) Maple syrup
125 ml (1⁄2 cup) water
PREPERATION :
In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients (except the maple syrup and water).
Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for 12 hours.
Preheat the oven to 180 ° C / 350 ° F.
In a large roasting pan, pour the maple syrup and water, add the marinated duck legs and the marinade, cover with aluminum foil and bake for 3 hours.
Serve with the vegetables of your choice.
